F1 Visa

F2E Academy (formerly Face to Face Learning Center) is authorized by the U.S. Federal Government to enroll non-immigrant students. To qualify for F-1 status, students must demonstrate financial ability to cover their educational expenses and enroll in a full-time program of at least 18 clock hours per week.  F1 students must adhere to all visa requirements to maintain their status in the USA.

Apply From Your Country

If you are currently living outside the United States and plan to study English at F2E Academy, you will need to obtain an F-1 student visa before traveling to the U.S.

Steps to Apply for an F-1 Visa:

  1. Apply for Admission: Complete the F2E Academy application and submit all required documents.
  2. Receive Your Acceptance Letter and Form I-20: Once admitted and eligible, you will receive your official acceptance letter and Form I-20.
  3. Pay the SEVIS Fee: Submit the required SEVIS I-901 Fee before your visa interview.
  4. Complete Form DS-160 and Schedule Your Interview: Fill out the online DS-160 Application and schedule your F-1 visa interview at the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.

After your visa is approved, you’ll be ready to travel to the United States and begin your studies at F2E Academy.

Change of Status

If you are currently in the United States with a valid non-immigrant visa and would like to change your status to an F-1 student visa, F2E Academy can help guide you through the process. The first step is to determine your eligibility, as not all visa categories qualify for a Change of Status. Our Admissions team will review your individual situation, explain the requirements, and assist you with the necessary documentation.

Once you are admitted, F2E Academy will issue your Form I-20 if you meet the admission and financial requirements. You will then submit your Change of Status (COS) application to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). While your application is pending, you must continue to comply with the terms and conditions of your current visa status. Please note that USCIS processing typically takes 4-6 months, although processing times may vary based on individual cases and USCIS workload.

Transfer Student

If you are currently studying in the United States on an F-1 student visa, you may be eligible to transfer your SEVIS record to F2E Academy. During the transfer process, your SEVIS ID number remains the same, making it easier to continue your studies without applying for a new visa.

To begin the transfer, you should notify the Designated School Official (DSO) at your current SEVP-certified school and coordinate your transfer release date. Once your SEVIS record has been released to F2E Academy and all admission requirements have been completed, you will be able to begin classes on the next available start date while maintaining your F-1 status.

F1 Student Admission Requirements

The Intensive English Program (IEP) at F2E Academy is designed for students whose native language is not English and who want to improve their language skills for academic, professional, or personal success. Before classes begin, all students are required to take an English Placement Test to determine their current proficiency level and ensure they are placed in the appropriate class.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old to enroll. Students under the age of 18 may be admitted with written consent from a parent or legal guardian.
